Person Centred Software partners with interactiveMe

InteractiveMe is a tablet based therapeutic tool for people in care homes which staff can use to develop positive relationships and engage people in deep and meaningful conversations and personalised activities. Person Centred Software partners with interactiveMe for measurement of resident activities.

The team at interactiveMe, led by Occupational Therapist Sam Dondi-Smith, set up a resident’s profile with the support of staff and families and they contain meaningful snippets of information which are relevant to the individual such as personal photos, favourite music, videos and someone’s life story. This information enables staff at the home to have a better understanding of the person behind the condition, particularly if they have a diagnosis of dementia.

Measuring quality of life using innovative technology

Grenham Bay Court staff have also reported an increase in staff time as a result of digitising their care planning which will enable them to use therapeutic tools such as interactiveMe to better effect. This will undoubtedly enhance the quality of psychological and social care delivered by staff to their residents.
